I would love to help you plan a special event.
I’ll collaborate with you in creating the theme and selecting the wines for your occasion. Let us bring the stemware, notes, and most importantly the wine. Our wine events last between one to two hours depending on the format.

Natural Wine 101
There are so many questions surrounding natural wines out there, and I'm delighted to offer a class that will serve as your expert introduction.
Come with your questions and taste buds ready to go—we'll taste three wines, talk about the regions and producers, learn what makes natural wine natural wine, and why it's unique.
You'll leave this class feeling empowered and excited about natural wine, having learned a ton and tasted through some diverse wines. The Natural Wine 101 class is my signature tasting event and can be held virtually or in-person.
Events in IRL
There is a wine tasting for every occasion. I will work with you to curate an experience that is the perfect fit from a group of three to thirty.
I offer several in-person event formats:
Seated: Guests are seated. This classic style allows for an emphasis on wine education. Perfect for smaller groups or several tables of smaller groups.
Cocktail Party: A more festive style that maximizes mingling. Wine education is less emphasized.
Wine Stations: Several sections or tables are set up around the space, each serving a different wine. This set-up allows guests to try the wines at their own pace and for a great deal of interaction between your guests and Whitney and a fellow sommelier or two depending on the size of the event.

Virtual Events
Virtual wine tastings are held through the platform of your choosing.
Each virtual tasting class is a tailored experience from theme, wine selection, and pairing recommendations. All virtual wine tastings include a downloadable tasting mat and pairing recommendations.
DMV Wine Delivery:
Once the wines have been selected, we can deliver the wine to you. Delivery is free within Washington, D.C. and within 10-mile radius of zipcode 20002, to Virginia and Maryland.
Out of State:
Once the tasting is confirmed, guests will receive a link to purchase the wines online from a preferred partner that ships nationally. Alternatively, if you have a preferred local shop, I’m happy to make recommendations for your group in an effort to support small businesses.
